   the Stroll

He was walking down the left side of the sidewalk holding a plastic
    see through bag
Inside were two valentine boxes of candy with lace

    The retarded man
The goofy man who cleans tables and works at the store I go in
    Sometimes

    His glasses are thick
    He doesn't talk much

Two Oriental students followed behind at a distance
    a girl and a boy
    A couple perhaps.

I rode by in my volvo wagon and thought about how I the pseudo
writer would grab this character with my thoughts
Whose valentine was he and who was his.

I thought of him differently after that for some reason

and I might from now on.
