we were all dressed for church
the 5 of us
"we're too late to get a park", and {all the seats are gone... }
so we gathered our things & headed to the park
the one with the monkey bars and slide
we spread the coloured eggs and smiled
& spread the pallet and crawled through the train

we went to iLa's house
house of incense and berries, lambchops
and green English peas
herb iced tea and rolls
when it was time to thank God we knew we were grateful
Like the papa bear he sat back in his chair
overstuffed & contemplated
my
bohemian lifestyle
we waved goodbye through fallen wisteria

and God said it was good
