   Misgivings

If I could scrape you from my windshield I would

If I could remove or tear out a page
I would consider it

Kicking pumpkins in a patch until they're broken
Walking on soil with nothing but gravel

Hellish renditions of a song
Which could have been sung

I always reply to you with misgivings
