   Breathe With Me

Licking flavor from words
Like hard candy in my mouth

Watching things go down easily

Some might say
 Who am I to question
Or doubt it.

Scratching a feeling
Disturbing an answer
Wrap me up in suppositions.

Linen thoughts
Beer poured ideas
Rub the delivery over and under
Congregate

Let us see where we stand
And who we know
And why it matters or what difference it makes.
Breathe with me

Know we're alive.
