   About This Site

This site was built and is maintained by former students of Vicki Waters. Some of her students have gone on to become published authors, celebrity publicists as well as stage and screen actors. We live in New York, California, Mississippi, and a few states in between. For every audition or manuscript submitted she was there in our heads, standing in front of the classroom encouraging and believing. She is our perpetual teacher, our sensei. Her words inspire and feed us, we hope they will do the same for you.

In a message dated 10/3/2007:

Greetings!  I am Elizabeth Neal, a former student of Ms. Waters from
the old days at Alternative or Bailey Magnet or whatever they're
calling it these days.  I just stumbled across her website and was
pleased to see that she was still writing.

I have never forgotten how wonderful an English/Drama teacher she
was.  I still write and act; I owe her a huge debt for her
    influence.  Please tell her that.

Also that, as I'm sure she knows, she has fans flung far and wide.
My partner and I live in Oregon now.  Last time I saw her I was under
the impression that I was moving to New York, which turned out to be
L.A.  Go figure.  Lived there for a while, managed a box office.
Took a couple of classes.  Now we live here and I go to Portland
State University (college finally-I never was that bright).

If she has any trouble remembering me, I was tall and awkward with
long blond hair and she used to drive me around to speech
competitions.  Now I'm tall, awkward and have long black hair.  The
    more things change...

Anyhoo-thanks for listening.  Was pleased to see her (and yours)
    website.  Hope all is well.

    Much Love,
    Elizabeth
